You will be surprised at how much food you get with the price! I don't think I have ever visited any Japanese restaurant so generous. I love this place. But always a lot of people queuing so be prepared to wait.

Oh this place is fun! Great music, rum cocktails and Caribbean vibe. Warm and welcoming staff. The menu is full of island flavours and there are decent vegetarian options as well. Portions are huge and comforting. The charcoal roasted red pepper stuffed with quinoa, mixed beans, carrot, coconut puree & crispy shallots was a satisfying and delicious meal - loved the hint of coconut and crispy texture of the shallots. The Jerk Fried Chicken had my friend in absolute food heaven, if I ate chicken I would have ordered this! Plantains are a must, get this as a side. The watermelon and cucumber salad was refreshing though very simple and not necessary as we already had so much food. Although the roasted sweet potato wedges, avocado, and toasted coconut flakes sounds amazing, it actually was not a very appetizing combination. I wouldn't order this. I would book a table as it is busy during peak times. Come with a few friends and have some rum cocktails.

After reading the Time Out Eating Out Guide, we went to have dim sum but left disappointed. Har Kau had stodgy pastry - it should be light and thin. Prawn Cheung Fun was flavourless and stodgy. The staffing of the BBQ Pork Steamed Bun was very small. The only good dishes were Fried Squid Cakes and Steamed Glutenous Rice with meat. We had much better dim sums at other restaurants such as Plum Valley and Royal China. Don't trust Time Out. Also they tried to charge extra Har Kau and tea which we never ordered or drank, so make sure to keep a tab and check your bill before paying.

The hot pot offerings were extremely limited. The soup base wasn't very tasty and we walked out of there feeling unfulfilled. Would not return again for hot-pot. Can't say anything about the rest of the food, but I can note that the restaurant was extremely empty of customers while we were there.

House wine, $1 per ounce. Food is solid--yes, try the mushroom pasta and the kale salad for your first visit, it's a must. That's what Gusto's famous for in this town. But I do encourage you to make your return and try the other pizza and pasta and seafood items. The branzino was top-notch: crispy on the outside, tenderly cooked, beautiful flavour. If you're trying to have a conversation on the patio, request adjacent seating at the bar aka two seats that are at the corner of bar tables. Thank me later.

My family chastised me for walking several miles to grab an outside, street-side, table...until the meal was served. We arrived somewhat early on a Tuesday evening (6:30pm) just in time to get a table for four. As our drinks were coming, the line had grown considerably and around the corner, no less. We had the foie gras, foie gras ravioli and the baked duck breast - all were outstanding. I'm far from a food critique, and clearly there are those that have gone before me with more refined palates; however, the dishes were melt-in-your-mouth superb. The foie gras was seared and crusted ever so delicately and complimented by pineapple and ginger toast. The ravioli draped across the forks as if made of silk and similarly textured. Finally, the roasted duck breast possessed a delicious crust accompanied by mashed potatoes. We ended our delightful evening with salted caramel creme brulee and chocolate molten cake with vanilla glacé. Our wait staff were attentive, entertaining and absolutely enhanced the authentic, Parisian experience. We have already planned our trip back! Merci beaucoup!

Came on a Saturday evening with my 2 senior parents. We ordered somewhat blindly from the daily menu board: pork filet lignin in a mustard cream sauce with fettuccini - excellent; salmon tartare with veggie noodles - very good; and roast chicken with French fries- July dad says the best chicken he ever had. Our waiter recommended a sweet wine (my mom's request). And we had an excellent first dinner in Paris.

Chez Fernand is among my favorite restaurants in the world. I stumbled upon it one hungry night in 2009 with girlfriends and our minds were blown by their truffled mushroom ravioli. So blown, in fact, that we returned there later on in the trip after brief visits to Amsterdam and Copenhagen. My husband and I then traveled to Paris for a week as part of our honeymoon earlier this year and I knew I had to dine here again. While I was just a poor student in 2009 who could only afford one pasta dish, we were now two working adults with a little more cash in our pockets. We went for lunch and had the most enjoyable meal of the entire week. We had escargot and the truffle mushroom ravioli to start and my husband had rack of lamb while I had divine scallops and leeks in a creamy mustard sauce for our mains. We finished off the meal with apple tatin and cappuccinos. I believe everything except the escargot was on the specials menu that day and every single thing was absolutely delicious. The space itself is cute and more spacious than it seems from the outside. I will be back for sure and recommend it to friends traveling to France.

Location was really good, and the decoration inside was beautiful. We ordered the halloumi burger and the saffron risotto, and we had to wait for 45 minutes. The waitress only informed us once that the food was delayed, yet somehow all the other customers that came after us got their food first. The presentation of the food was nice, but it seemed like it only concealed the blandness of the food. Basically the only good thing was the beer.

This is probably one of my favorite dining experiences of all time. Six of us girls sat in the outside covered patio for a late dinner. We started with the scallops that were to die for! Two of us had the cod, one of us had the steak and two of us had the veal. I must say I do not typically eat veal but this was the best I've ever had!!! Highly recommend to have dinner here when visiting Prague. Our server was phenomenal and helped with wine and food recommendations.

I'm glad I finally decided to try this place out despite the awful wait times you have to go through. I came at around noon on a Saturday, and although I was told I'd have to wait an hour, I was seated after only 20 minutes. Woohoo! I absolutely love the atmosphere here, especially during weekend brunch hours. This restaurant is designed beautifully and is very refreshing and clean. It's nice to see such a full house mixed with all kinds of people, as it's always so busy (yet still feels spacious). The service was wonderful and conversational, and the food was simply delicious! No complains there. I really enjoyed the skillet and the Veda's choice dish - you can't go wrong with these orders. I also had the famous fluffy blueberry pancakes as well, just to see what all of the fuss was about. These were definitely tasty, but overhyped. I thought they were just okay, and I probably wouldn't order them again. I'm not the biggest pancake person so it was more of a one-timer kind of thing for me. Mildred's was great overall, and I will certainly be back!

$2.99 for six soup dumplings? I'm in. We got the classic and pan fried soup dumplings, alongside the juicy buns because why not. Overall, super tasty at a great value. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes even when the queue looked deceptively long. The soup dumplings are super tasty without that defrosted meat taste and are fairly juicy. When I bit into the juicy buns, a stream of juice shot out of the side, so BEWARE! It's a decently quick, cheap, and tasty. Even if you've had the best Xiao long baos in China, I'm sure you'll still appreciate the taste.
